The Sportwelt Amade consists of 10 towns: Altenmarkt, Eben, Filzmoos,
Flachau, Flachauwinkl, Kleinarl, Radstadt, St. Johann/Alpendorf, Wargrain & Zaunchensee.
All the towns have their own unique characters and range of things to do
and places of interest to see. We must also not forget all the other areas
around Salzburg which make for an exciting day's adventure!
All the activities can be organised by the Hotel, alternatively all details
of activities will be available on request from Reception.
Mozart tours for 250th year anniversary - Sound of Music tours.
- Knowledgable hotel guides will be available for mountain biking and mountain hiking at a charge for a full day of EUR 15 per person. Bike hire and meals will be the responsibility of the individual
- For guided excursions we will have hotel transport available
- Mountain bikes can be hired at Intersport in Altenmarkt, the next village.
- Mountain hiking trails from Eben
- Riding in Flachau and Eben
- Swimming lake with water flumes, volley ball court and restaurant in Eben.
- Waterworld in Wargrain with outdoor and indoor pools, flumes, children's area and sauna.
- Tennis courts in Eben
- Golf course in Radstadt with driving range, pitch and put, pro shop and golf school.
- Summer toboggan run in Flachau
- Zorbing in Flachau
- Jetboating in Werfen
- Rafting and canyoning in Schladming and Flachau
- Minigolf in Flachau and Filzmoos
- The "Walk of Fear" on Dachstein Glacier.
- For a complete day of activities Forest Adventure Park at Rammsau is the place to go. It offers a swimming lake, volleyball, climbing, trampolining, soccer, barbeques and night concerts. The price for using all the activities is approximately EUR 30 per day.
If you want to combine sightseeing with all the numerous activities on offer there are the following places to name a few:
- The Salt Mines in Hallein
- Werfen Castle where the film "Where Eagles Dare" was filmed
- The Ice Caves at Werfen
- Visit Salzburg for the day and do the "Sound of Music" tour. It is possible to get a train from Eben to Salzburg changing at Bischofshofen.
- Concerts to mark the 250th Anniversary of Mozart
